Ethical Policy
All authors who contributed to a research paper should approve the final manuscript. Authors are free to post and distribute the links of their articles anywhere immediately upon publication.
Nanofabrication follows Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and will pursue suspected research and publication misconduct (e.g. falsification, unethical experimentation, plagiarism, inappropriate image manipulation, redundant publication). For further information about COPE, please see the website for COPE at https://publicationethics.org/.
Nanofabrication uses CC BY attribution for all articles we publish. This license lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation.
Plagiarism Policy
The editors and publisher will investigate reported unethical issues, including plagiarism, double submissions, copyright infringements, and conflicts of interest.
Necessary actions against cases proven to be misconduct will be taken by editors, even if these relate to previously published manuscripts which might later be retracted or revised. Decisions are made by the editors and depend on circumstances.
If an article must be retracted, the publisher must inform all indexing and abstracting databases that include the journal's contents.
Peer-Reviewers
Reviewers shall maintain the confidentiality of the research papers; they have no right to share and publish the contents of manuscripts.
Reviewers must report any unethical cases in manuscripts, including double submission, duplication or plagiarism, to editors.
If the manuscript is against the reviewers’ interest, they are morally obliged to decline the peer-reviewing process.
Reviewers must send their comments during the deadlines after accepting the editors’ invitations; if they cannot meet the deadlines for any reason, they shall contact the editors as soon as possible.
Reviewers are expected to review the papers unbiasedly and respect the journal policies.
Reviewers shall NOT contact the authors directly about the manuscripts under the peer-review process.
