Authors
All OA papers of Eurasia Academic Publishing Group are offered under the CC BY-ND 4.0 licence. Therefore, authors do not usually need to contact EurAsia Academic Publishing Group (EAPG) to request permission to reuse their own material, as long as the original work is properly credited. It is usual to provide the citation of (and where relevant a hyperlink to) the original publication:
“This extract/figure/table was originally published in [insert hyperlinked citation information, including Author(s), Journal Name, Year].”
Authors of Open Access (OA) articles may post the Version of Record (VoR) to their institutional repository.
All Authors are encouraged to re-use their article, in whole or in part, in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
STM Publishers
EAPG is a member of STM association and supports the STM Permissions Guidelines, which aim to reduce the administration involved in clearing permissions.
Publishers who are also signatories to the STM Permissions Guidelines may re-use work published in EAPG journals, without contacting us, as long as the work is appropriately used and attributed as stated in the latest version of the Guidelines.
Sharing and Public Posting of Articles
EAPG supports the ‘Voluntary principles for article sharing’ compiled by the STM Association.
We encourage the public posting of Open Access articles and article metadata and in scholarly collaboration networks and elsewhere online. Please contact info@eaapublishing.org, if you have any questions about the sharing policy.
Our Commitment to Responsible Research Assessment
At EurAsia Academic Publishing Group (EAPG), we are committed to developing the principles outlined in the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA). We believe in providing a research environment that values the quality and impact of individual research findings based on reasonable metrics. To this end, we pledge to:
1. Promote Holistic Research Evaluation:
We will provide a variety of metrics and qualitative indicators to support a fair and comprehensive assessment of research. Our goal is to move beyond reliance on journal-based metrics, such as the Journal Impact Factor, and instead focus on the intrinsic value of each study.
2. Encourage Transparent Authorship Practices:
We will require author contribution statements for all published works, ensuring clarity about each contributor’s roles and responsibilities. Where appropriate, we will also adopt standardized taxonomies, such as CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy), to further enhance transparency.
3. Support Open and Accessible Research:
We are committed to making citation data openly available and will actively follow initiatives that promote transparency in scholarly communication, such as the Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC).
4. Remove Arbitrary Restrictions:
We will not impose limits on the number of references in research articles, allowing authors to fully acknowledge prior literature.
5. Encourage Responsible Citation Practices:
We will advocate for the citation of primary literature to ensure that original research is appropriately credited. This includes providing guidance to authors on the importance of citing foundational studies.
6. Foster Inclusivity and Diversity in Research:
We aim to create a more equitable and innovative scholarly environment where all contributions are valued and diverse research outputs—including datasets, software, and other non-traditional contributions—are appreciated
